SIP Connections

SIP Connections (previously known as 'Provider Side' or 'Site Location') represent SIP connections between the customer service entity and the Live Platform. The connections are used for the segregation of SIP reports (Call Data Records) that are retrieved from SBC devices and Microsoft Teams. The data is used by Live Platform for Calls and Voice Quality monitoring. A link is created for each service.

Direct Routing services: An IP Group is created on the managed SBC device and a link is established between the SBC device and Live Platform.
Operator Connect services: A link is created based on the customer's Microsoft Azure Tenant Id, or an IP Group link is created based on the Proxy Set configured in the Advanced Settings (see Enable Customer License).
For Hybrid, Zoom, Live CX, WebEX and Live Essentials: An IP Group is created for each service on the SBC device configured in the Onboarding and a link between the IP Group and Live Platform is established. In addition, a unique Connection ID is created for each service.
